Ambermoon Designs was formed out of a love for handmade, unique jewellery. Combining both the art and creativity of macrame and knotting, with the healing nature of gemstone's and crystals from around the world, was a way of bringing & giving this beautiful energy to others.

The knotting and macrame used to create my designs is very meditative - allowing an exploration of peace and calmness through repetition. Through the use of crystals I have become greatly appreciative of the energies that they provide - I find it essential to respect these 'living' stones of energy due to the huge amount of gemstones and crystals being mined worldwide. When choosing a gemstone or crystal, its energy and quality of vitality is intuitively drawn upon. Sometimes the gemstone seems to create a necklace on its own, giving me visions of a particular design.The nylon waxed twine used in my designs is very 'light' to wear compared with the typical silver/gold jewellery that is widely available. Customers have said that often they are not aware they are wearing the necklace, which is amazing as gemstones are not always light in weight.

I love custom making jewellery for people who have a particular gemstone or design in mind. Its a wonderful feeling to receive feedback from those wearing my jewellery on how much they receive from it. Thank you to all who have supported and appreciated my work this far.
